Spear Points
Christformation is a Bibleschool training program that is marked by 5 characteristic spear points:
1. Equipping saints through all 5 ministry gifts
Christformation isn't built around one single church or one specific ministry. It is an instrument aimed at strengthening local churches by 'equipping the saints' through all five gifts Jesus gave to His Body: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers (Eph. 4:11-16).
2. Deliberate discipleship
Christformation trains students through discipleship unto discipleship. Jesus instructed His own disciples to make all disciples of all nations, to baptize them and teach them all things He commanded us. (Mt. 28:19). Therefore, we not only teach students how to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, but also how to deliberately disciple others until they are formed into the mature image of Jesus Christ and able to do the same.
3. Developing a supernatural lifestyle
Christformation is continually developing training forms within its curriculum that will help students to operate in the gifts and the supernatural realm of the Holy Spirit, to the extend that this will become a natural way of life to them.
4. Church linked
Christformation values interaction with the home churches that send students to be trained. Our ultimate goal is to serve the Body of Christ by building strong, discipling Christians and developing Christ-like leaders that can lead the church of tomorrow.
5. Relevant to society
Christformation consistently builds bridges toward society to make the Kingdom of God visible to all. This is why students live and work throughout the city during their Christformation years. This is also why they participate in all sorts of projects within society. We aim to cultivate a readiness in people to take their personal responsibility and place in society.
